The front nine require drives with accuracy to avoid the natural storm gullies, also known as ‘barrancos’. The back nine will guide golfers up towards the hills with seemingly wider holes. Don’t take the wide fairways for granted as new challenges await. Considered the crown of the three courses of La Manga Club. It’s well-known for the varying design for every hole along with marvelous scenery throughout the entire route.

Not as spacious as its sibling southern course, but just as amusing. The course is personified by palm trees, barrancos, and a field that is extremely well taken care of. The holes are quite hilly and golfers will have to place their ball cleverly to stand straight. You need to maintain full focus during the entire round, as the back nine are accompanied by multiple water hazards that can ruin a good score from the front nine. Considered the “easiest” of the routes at La Manga Club.

Even though this course hosted the Spanish Open between 1973 and 1977, it has undergone several changes such as Arnold Palmer’s upgrade in 1993, and yet another refurbishment in 2004. Despite numerous changes, the quality of La Manga South Course has remained the same – if anything, it has only gotten better. The course design has an interesting with plenty of palm trees that outline the fairway, but simultaneously spacious. Make sure play the sibling West, and North course when you visit this phenomenal golf club.
